Executive Cat Herder Isn’t Going Anywhere. It’s Evolving.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know that Executive Cat Herder has never really been just a website or a clever name.

It’s been a way of describing the work I’ve done for years: walking into complicated environments, figuring out what’s actually happening, getting the right people in the room, and turning strategy into something people can execute.

And now, it’s evolving.

Not disappearing.

Not shutting down.

And definitely not a goodbye.

It’s an embodiment of the next stage.

My Work Has Expanded — So the Brands Are Evolving With It

Over the years, my work has taken me across corporate strategy, entrepreneurship, executive leadership, economic development, workforce initiatives, community programming, speaking, consulting, and everything in between.

As that work has grown, it no longer makes sense to try to fit all of it underneath one brand.

Today, much of my focus is centered around a few distinct areas.

RESET with 75x Strategy is where we are creating intentionally designed experiences for established founders, executives, and leaders who need space to step outside the day-to-day, challenge how they are operating, and decide what comes next. Strategy Solved is my overarching brand where strategy meets execution — working with organizations and leaders to diagnose what is actually happening, make better decisions, and build the systems and accountability required to move. (https://www.strategysolved.com/)

Strategic AF is becoming a bigger home for my ideas and thought leadership through the book, podcast, conversations, and content around business, leadership, life, legacy, and what it actually takes to execute. (https://strategicaf.co/)

And that brings us back to Executive Cat Herder.

So What Happens Here?

Executive Cat Herder is returning to one of the areas of my work that has always mattered deeply to me: programming that creates access, opportunity, and economic impact.

Going forward, this site will primarily support programming developed and delivered in conjunction with:

• City, county, and state entities

• Economic and workforce development organizations

• Entrepreneurship and small-business programs

• Empowerment initiatives

• Community-based organizations

• Foundations and corporate partners

• Third-party funded programs that allow participants to access education, strategy, mentorship, and resources

  
  

In many of these programs, the person receiving the support isn't the person writing the check. That's Important

Some of the most impactful work I've been part of throughout my career has happened because a city, foundation, corporation, economic development organization, or other partner decided to invest in people who might not otherwise have access to these resources.

I want Executive Cat Herder to continue being a home for that work.

This Isn't a Pivot Away. It's Clarity.

There is a tendency in business to believe that growth means continuously adding more things under the same umbrella.

I don't believe that anymore.

Sometimes growth means getting much clearer about what belongs where.

The founder and executive work has a home.

The strategic consulting work has a home.

The book, podcast, and thought leadership have a home.

And the programming, empowerment, and third-party-funded work that has been part of my career for years has a home here at Executive Cat Herder.

That's not fragmentation.

That's maturity.

The Next Stage

I've spent a lot of my career helping other people recognize when the business, organization, or identity that got them here needs to evolve to get them where they're going next.

Turns out, you have to be willing to take your own advice.

Executive Cat Herder helped build an incredible chapter of my career.

Now it gets to become something even more specific.

A platform for programs.

A vehicle for impact.

A place where organizations can partner with me to bring strategy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and empowerment programming to the people and communities they want to serve.

Meanwhile, you'll see more of my founder and executive work through RESET and 75x Strategy, my strategic work through Strategy Solved, and a whole lot more of what I think about business, leadership, life, and legacy through Strategic AF.

Same strategist.

Same belief that strategy without execution is just a really expensive collection of ideas.

Just clearer containers for the work.

This isn't goodbye to Executive Cat Herder.

It's Executive Cat Herder becoming exactly what it needs to be for what's next.
