The City, the Strategy and the Comeback of Depth

It’s funny being back in New York.

(Currently writing this post waiting for the Yankee game to start- and the energy here is bringing up a lot)

I came for meetings. For momentum. For that electric pulse only this city has.

But what I didn’t expect was the creative clarity it would give me—especially when it comes to the next chapter of my business and how I show up as a strategist, speaker, and brand builder.

If you’ve ever walked the streets of Manhattan, you know:

People move with purpose.

They speak with blunt honesty.

And the energy? It doesn’t ask for permission.

That same energy is what I bring into every room I walk into as a business strategist and leadership advisor. Whether I’m consulting a startup team, coaching a founder on narrative strategy, or helping a brand scale with clarity, I’m not here to waste anyone’s time.

And right now? Time is exactly what no one seems to have.

We’re overwhelmed with noise—especially in the online space.

Every day, I see “experts” sending 15-20 emails a week, pushing reels, threads, DMs, and daily content like their entire identity depends on staying visible.

But here's the truth:

If you need to be in someone’s inbox 5 times a day to stay relevant, it’s not your content frequency that’s the problem. It's your content depth.

Short-Form Fatigue Is Real

While short videos, flashy captions, your "viral hooks" and email “hacks” may hook someone momentarily, they’re not building meaningful trust. They’re not creating the kind of resonance that converts into loyal clients, aligned partnerships, or long-term brand equity.

The data backs it up:

  • 44% of consumers unsubscribe from emails due to sheer volume, not lack of value (Statista, 2023).

  • Long-form blogs (2,000+ words) generate 3x more traffic, 56% more backlinks, and dramatically increase time on page (Backlinko).

  • Substack’s top creators—all long-form writers—are pulling in six-figure annual revenue without a single viral reel.

  • TikTok engagement has dropped more than 10% YoY, with viewers reporting burnout from rapid-fire content (Influencer Marketing Hub, 2024).

We’ve trained people to consume fast. But that doesn’t mean they’re absorbing, trusting, or buying.

The Comeback of Substance

I’m betting on a shift.

Not just in the algorithm—but in us.

We’re craving space to think.

We want content that makes us feel something.

And we’re ready for strategy that doesn’t just chase attention—but commands it.

That’s why I’m doubling down on what most “gurus” are quietly terrified of:

  • Writing blogs.

  • Publishing books.

  • Creating long-form video that goes beyond hooks and hustle.

  • And building strategies that prioritize resonance over reach.

I’m bringing back depth. And you should too.

So, What Does This Mean for You?

If you’ve been feeling the pressure to show up constantly online…

If the idea of writing something real sounds better than another carousel post…

If you want your ideas to actually land—

Then maybe this season isn’t about doing more.

Maybe it’s about doing what matters.

That is why I love what we do.

We help founders, leaders, and bold brands build clarity-driven strategies rooted in their actual expertise—not just performance content.

If that’s you?

Let’s connect.

And if you’ve got thoughts on this—on the fatigue, the future, or the kind of work you want to create—I’d love to hear them.

What are you walking toward in this next chapter?

What are you done with?

What are you ready to reclaim?

Because whether you’re in NYC or anywhere else, one thing is true:

There’s still magic in moving with purpose.

And you don’t have to do it alone.
