Marketing Monday: Overwhelmed with e-mail and a tip to fix it


I'm fed up.

I had more than 5,000 e-mails asking me to buy stuff from Black Friday until today.

What resulted is that I bought was nothing.

Talk about analysis paralysis.


But, I did use a cool tool to help reduce the clutter in my inbox.

I removed myself from more than 500 e-mail lists that didn't give me value.


We are exposed to more than 10,000 brand messages a day.

We have to engage with brands whose message we want.

Not the ones that give us more clutter.
